Migraine Action Association is a registered charity. All our work is paid for by money raised by our members and supporters. Can you help us to continue to provide information and support to migraine sufferers?
Fundraising can be fun! Here are some ideas:
- a table top sale
- a raffle
- a jumble sale
- put on a play for your family and friends
- during the summer lots of our members and supporters will be holding garden parties to raise funds for us. Contact us for your Garden Party Pack containing pens, stickers, balloons, posters, invitations and ideas to make your garden party a real success.

Make sure that you have the permission of an adult to hold any fundraising events.
School events: ask your teacher if your school will support Migraine Action Association with a special event such as:
- a collection from parents and friends who attend a school play or assembly
- a mufti day - pupils pay 50p not to come to school in uniform for one day
- wear a hat for a head - on a certain day everyone pays 50p to come to school in a hat (you might want to give a prize for the best hat - perhaps you could have an Easter bonnet competition?)
- a sponsored event such as a sponsored silence or a sponsored run around the
playground during a lunch break
Your cubs, brownies or other group might also like to help you to hold a fundraising event for us.
We' re sure you'll have lots of other ideas and we'd love to hear about them. Let us know if you want hold a fundraising event - we'll help you as much as we can.
