There
are over 3,800,000 children in the United Kingdom between
the ages of 8-11 years and we know that approximately
400,000 of them suffer from migraine.
Babies and small
children can also suffer from migraine.
So
you are not alone!
Both
boys and girls can have migraine. Sometimes boys 'grow
out' of it but unfortunately it can get worse for girls
and more girls start to suffer from it as they get older.
If
someone in your family has migraine, for example your
Mum or Gran, then you may be more likely to suffer from
it. This is why migraine is called a genetic disorder.
